Picking a design can be personal. Sometimes it is hard to imagine what a design might look like, or if you should repeat a shape from the quilt or not. Go with your gut feeling. If you are still unsure, consider our staff’s suggestion(s) or that of a quilter friend whose work and aesthetic you like!

We stock a variety of quilting threads which provide you with a large range of colours to choose from to best suit your design presentation. Important question to ask is do you want the thread colour to compliment or stand out that it takes over your quilt. Our experienced staff are always available to guide you with this important decision.

Once you are happy with the selected thread colour and pattern design for your quilt. Our team uses our in-store professional quilting machines to put the finishing quilting touches to your creation.

We use the HandiQuilter “Infinity” (https://handiquilter.com.au/product/infinity/) and Janome “Quilt Maker Pro 18” (https://www.janome.com.au/product/quilt-maker-pro-18/) for both our free motion and computerised quilting services.
